The Central Library is well-equipped with all modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROM, On line databases, audio-video cassettes, books, journals, standards, specifications, theses, reports etc. Central Library is committed to to provide a world class information support to its users. Central Library is located just opposite the administration building.

Central Library has a collection of more then 300,000 documents which includes about 55,000 bound volumes periodicals. The collection is mainly strong in sciences and technology. However substantial quality information sources on humanities and social sciences are also available. Library is open for bonafide members though non-members can also utilize its resources with the permission of the Librarian.

We are currently involved in utilizing the networked information resources for providing recent and most comprehensive access to e-journals, e-books, e-patents and other e-reference resources to the faculty students, staff, industries, alumnus under Intranet and Internet environments.
